PB & J Oat Bites

My all time favourite combo is the classic PB & J. I love how the salty, nutty, creamy butter complements the sweet and tart jam. Inspired by this combo, I have created On-The-Go almond butter, raspberry “jam”, oat bites! An easy, convenient, and nutritious breakfast or snack for those with busy schedules. Enjoy on the way to work, in between meetings, before or after a workout, or pack in your lunchbox. Packed with fibre, protein, healthy fats, and so much flavour, these are sure to keep you energized and satiated all day! Plus, they are vegan, low in sugar, and can be gluten and nut free!


  • 1 1/2 c large flake oats
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seed
    2 tbsp natural nut or seed butter of choice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Fresh raspberries (could also use other berries)

Makes 8 servings

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a muffin tin
  2. Mix all ingredients besides raspberries in a bowl until combined
  3. Spoon mixture into muffin tin, filling the cups 3/4 full. Place 3 raspberries on top of each
  4. Bake for 12 minutes (mix should be golden brown)
  5. While hot, use fork to mash and spread raspberries over muffin.
  6. Store in sealed container
